It's very simple:  if creationists could present evidence that evolution didn't happen, they would. Since they haven't, they can't (because there isn't any). Biblical passages are not scientific evidence of anything (except perhaps the beliefs of the authors of the passages).

But I don't defend polemical use of scientific results on either side.

Although evolution has been mathematically discredited as a theory, many of its frauds exposed, and many of its assumptions debunked, it's defenders continue to embrace the lifeless corpse because logic, observation, and science really never had anything to do with it in the first place. Darwinists like Freddy Hoyle knew evolution is impossible so he moved on to another absurdity- pan spermia- rather than "give in" to belief in a Creator. That's the same reason evos won't let go. The alternative is personally repugnant to them.

Besides, anything that is not falsifiable is not really science, is it?

You seem to forget your hypothesis is based upon missing evidence. Since I don't offer the Bible as scientific evidence, your argument has no merit. Before I can present my evidence it would help if you took some logic classes at the graduate level, history of science (pay particular attention to Mendel's Law). It would help too if you count the number of times your Biology textbooks unnecessarily use the word Evolution so that when I start explaining how brainwashing works you'll grasp the fact that you were brainwashed by religious fanatics which I'll happily prove to you. But first go read Aristotle and Plato. I've read Darwin's works as well as Einstein's works and found them logically unsound.
