That's why I chose the "Your Opinion" topic (which is marked 'vanity' on the posting form) and was quite careful to keep it out of the news topics.

Well, my apologies then, I certainly did not select that forum deliberately.

I wonder if there is a bug, or something confusing about the form interface, that makes vanities end up in News. I agree, I don't want them there and I thought I had made that clear in my selections.
