There is a "chat" place on FR for good reason.Unfortunately,not enough people are making use of it.

I plead guilty to that, back when I was a newbie! This new-fangled chat forum didn't exist then, but I still got (quite rightly) flamed by at least a few. :-)

I see no harm is this vanity not being tucked under the rug. Do you? There are a lot of newbies here who seem to want to talk out the issues. It's the new Conservative newbies who are taking our place, and they deserve to hear everything we have to say. If we shut them up in a little room called chat, they won't learn.
