Yes, the extra hand is a nice prop! I'm an old theater techie, used to do lights and build scenery. We did Phantom in the round one time, and we had to make a dummy drop from a hole in the ceiling on a noose. We used a department store mannequin, and when the rope jerked, it kept flying apart, an arm here, the head there, the hand reminds me of that.
Cute pic~! How old is it?
Theatre! I started writing a sort of stage musical once and included a scene with dancing techs dressed all in black, but that's a whole 'nother story.
It was taken in my college dorm room, long ago and not really all that far away. :o)
Historically accurate. We wore black, even away from work. But we couldn't dance very well.
Not necessary. I took that into consideration. :o) However, it did require singing and some jumping around with stage props. A bit from the song: "Without US...the telephone wouldn't ring. Without US...the birds wouldn't sing." LOL
hmmm...do Barn Swallows sing? (pretending to stick to the thread topic)
So, it was kind of a Guildenstern and Rosencrantz thing for theater techs? Cool.
Perhaps Gilbert & Sullivan or Rodgers & Hammerstein too.
