Lol, What other hope do they have?

With that defense, Miami actually isn't that far away. Ricky walking away really screwed them on offense, in addition to whatever Miami "braintrust" that believes Jay Fieldler is an NFL quality starting QB.

San Fran, on the other hand, is a different matter entirely.

If the Pats can beat Baltimore today, they stand an excellent chance of running the table and going 15-1.

Miami and San Franciso...the Pats play them both over the final five weeks as well as Cincinnati and Cleveland. They only real tough game remaining will be with the Jets and the Pats already beat them once this year.

That said, Pittsburgh appears to be the team to beat this year in the playoffs.

With the job the pats have done while missing most of their CB's, the question as to which is the best coaching staff in the NFL has been overwhelmingly answered.

The Pats/Ravens game is going to be played in horrible conditions. Heavy rain and wind 15-25 MPH on natural turf. Winds are already beginning to pick up.

Such weather favors the Pats. They always do well in poor weather.

Game of the week is Baltimore at New England, a probable AFC playoff matchup. The pats are playing with a patchwork secondary. Jamal Lewis is out for Baltimore. Pats should win, but Baltimore is never out of a game with that defense. Boller has also been playing well.

Second place goes to St.Louis at Green Bay, a possible NFC playoff matchup. The rams aren't built to play well in cold weather(See last week's game against the Bills). The pack has been on fire.

Third place goes to Philadelphia at New York Giants, a possible NFC playoff matchup if the giants hold their end of the bargain, which isn't looking good. The giants, beginning with last week's loss to Atlanta, are in the middle of a brutal schedule run. They are a very talented team on both sides of the ball, but not enough to beat Philly.

Jacksonville at Minnesota gets honorable mention. An interesting matchup of two good teams, physical against finesse. The vikings get Moss back, Jacksonville gets Leftwich back. Minnesota should win, but Jacksonville has beaten the colts, a team very similar to the vikes.

The Vikings say Moss practiced all day Thursday and had no pain or swelling in the hammy. If so, he should cause the Jags a lot of trouble.

Big concern about my Philly pick today. It is raining like all get out in NY, and I think that favors the G-Men. The long ball from McNabb is not a threat, and Philly isn'y good at grinding it out...

Good. The Gmen beating the iggles would make this falcon fan's day.

Kickoff time. I got the Jags-Vikes on my local channel.

I was there...and I am now watching the end of the Jet game and I'm STILL not dry. Boy, wind and rain before the game, and we were tailgating as best we could (standing under the open rear door on a Dodge Caravan). It stopped raining at kickoff, but the damage was done.

So, we had to watch a game go from neutral (7-6 Iggles at the half) to abysmal (Final: 27-6 Iggles) in wet jeans. And socks.

Eli looked like a rookie, but made a few good play. Tiki went over 100 on the ground for his eighth time this season, leading the league. The brats were good.

I see your Falcs prevailed. You have a good chance to beat the Iggles...your team speed matches well against them.
