I always thought it a shame when such cultural treasures fall into a state of disuse and disrepair. Some pennypinchers may argue that there are more pressing priorities for public funds, but IMHO, it is always good news when these facilities can be restored to their former glory. They help soothe the soul and make life just a little more pleasant.
