I've got a question for everyone - but probably mostly the menfolk around here.........
How does one get rid of moles?
The only kind of stuff hubby found (granted it was just the first place he lokked) was the nasty kind of stuff with warnings like "don't have children after using this product" on it.
We can't fill in the holes fast enough, and I'm afraid my daughter, one of her friends, or one of us is going to get hurt stepping into an unseen one.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!
From what I've heard, you will need pros to do it. At least get an extimate/consultation from a local pest control outfit.

There are mole "traps" you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowe's. You can place them in the soft spots of your yard and when the mole crawls below the trap it sets it off.
If you have the time, you can also use a pitchfork, which is my Dad's favorite method. When you see the ground move, a simple poke with pitchfork can stop them dead in their tracks.
Here at my house, I have a "Grand Canyon" of sorts. My female Beagle is obsessed with following every mole trail. She has caught 3 so far this year, but the yard really suffers. I may soon be able to start charging admission to see the "Grand Canyon of Kentucky".
Hubby says you have grubs and the moles are doing you a favor----oh! and to get a cat! Our kitty will sit for hours by a molehole. She generally gets her prey. ; )
