Now that the conservatives have made their voice more loud and clear by reelecting G.W. Bush, we must not relent in turning back the liberal tide that has vexed our nation.

If America is going to be a champion for freedom around the world, we must also be liberators of the millions of defenseless lives that await the death sentence in women's clinics around our nation.

I believe the war against abortion is a winnable war. Roe vs. Wade can and must be overturned. Until it is, America will not rise to its full potential . We must break the chains of oppression that abortion has wound tightly around our necks. I say "chains" because the free access to abortion is directly tied to many other scourges. As society devalues the conception of life, it also brings into question the value of life beyond the womb. After all, if we are just flesh and bone to be extracted and discarded, then there is really no limit to how we choose to spend our lives.

Why do some people freely sell their bodies for another persons fleeting pleasure? Why do some people randomly murder others without remorse? Why do some people buy, use and sell poisons that debilitate them one brain cell at a time? Why do some people view themselves as an abortion that has yet to performed?

Abortion is a leading contributor to the deterioration of our nation's worth and strength. If we are to be "One nation under God' we must not allow our future citizens to become "One nation under the knife."
