I had a good season this year, might be the biggest ever. I attended Richmond, The Pepsi 400, both Pocono races and the fall Dover race. I must say Daytona was much more impressive live that I ever thought it would be. Dover still is the loud, fast two lane race track that is pure rumble. I was at Bristol last year and with one lane it does not produce the best racing IMO. Richmond is a great, and I mean great, Race Track. The folks there are real friendly and the racing is the best I have ever seen. (even though Jr. won, <---Traction control no doubt..LOL!) Pocono is a run not a race, it is worth the 20 bucks that I pay for a seat 20 minutes before the start, and it is an hour from home.
I really think I am losing interest in the NASCAR Cup series due to the stupid rules. I do like the Bush series and watch them each week. I did tape each event and FF through all the Ads and silly features that are inserted. That is why I always show up late after all has been said.
Again thanks for the threads, I read the whole thing every Sunday night.
You're very welcome.
I love reading your track reviews since we are considering which to visit in the future. I would really like to know which track is the easiest, if any, to get pit passes for.
Dover is the track with the Dupont seats over the track which would be fun for awhile (not for the entire race I would guess)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and all our other FReeper Nascar fans!!
