I'm with you with that last comment.
A real rock-n-roller doesn't give a darn about some stinking museum.
What's next? The PUNK rock Hall of Fame?

Cassie was Steve Gaines sister. Krantz was one of .38 special's backup singers and became the lead singer for Rossington-Collins in 1980. She and Gary later married and are still married, living in Jackson Hole WY. when not touring.

Hey, when they say "turn it up", who can resist? I sure can't.
NE FL ping -- just so you know, I'm the one with the 'barassed kids in the car as I rock out.

Does anyone think a music world that is so eager to prove its political correctness at every turn is going to honor a band that uses a Confederate battle flag as its symbol,
Very good observation. Believe you're dead right on that!

I LOVE Skynyrd but even i make the Allman Bros/Skynyrd mistake once in awhile.

We listen to 89.5 fm kind of like the Promise station but with more guitar riffs! LOL Love it!
My kids don't think it's funny when I use ridiculous objects for a microphone, play air guitar, and sing, but my friends think it's funny.

Just got back in town and noticed that Skynyrd got skipped over AGAIN, even though they'll induct any and every R&B one hit wonder who becomes eligible since it's the PC thing to do.
Skynyrd will be inducted one of these years so they're only delaying the inevitable. Nevertheless, if I were them I'd wait till the day of the induction ceremony, do a no show, and send 'em a nice Teresa Heinz-Kerry enspired card reading "shove it."
