OK, now I have officially seen EVERYTHING. My head hurts. I am going to bed.

When I was a young teenager, the word "gay" did not exist. We all used the word, "queer", but we had no idea what it really meant. I know most readers will find that strange, but seriously, homosexuality was not discussed, period. I went to a Catholic High School. The very pretty young girls in their plaid skirts made me straight as an arrow (no pun intended...).

Not strange at all. I remember that time. We wouldn't have thought of behaving in the ways the left did in this past election either! Still wouldn't. Heck we wouldn't even have thought of throwing litter all over the country! People, most, had values.

When I was a young teenager, the word "gay" did not exist.

It existed when I was a teenager but it had a whole different meaning.

I resent people taking words with one meaning and changing them to something totally opposite. How many songs were written before the "gay" movement and people were happy and gay. Gay meant to be joyous. This is one of many words that have been stolen over the years. Changing the English language.

It P.....s me off.
