LOL We do get into it and its alot of planning and work but we both love it. :) I've had this year's theme floating around in my mind for a long time just hadn't done anything about it. Then about this time last year I ran across a couple of things that made it all start to fall in place visually. Of course, it was so late in the year that I'd already committed to something entirely different so this one has sorta grown and evolved over the past year. LOL

How great that Dawn and Tyler are going to be with you this year. I've been to Eureka Springs a couple of times but never in the winter. That should be fun. I think I remember seeing photos or an article sometime back about how they celebrate Christmas... maybe it was in Southern Living.

There are the most amazing lights there. They really get into it. There is a Christmas lights trolley tour that goes all through the historic district and downtown and then out to the grounds of the Passion Play. Of course, they don't do the performances in the winter, but they do the lights in the amphitheater and all around the grounds. They had the story of the nativity in lights that covered a huge area. Here is one that shows part of the amphitheater. I reduced the size when I first scanned it though, so you can't tell a lot.
