Yes, I love Siamese cats. I had one that had been a stray. My sister had gotten her from a vet - someone found her on the streets of Lewiston, Idaho. My sister ended up not being able to keep her, because her (at the time) 3 year old daughter wouldn't leave the cat alone, and the cat was obviously not accustomed to children. So I took her. She was an adult, and maybe five years old at the time. I kept her for 11 years, when she died of some form of cancer. Vet never was able to find out what it was. Anyway, she's been dead for nearly 5 years now, and I still miss her. When it comes time to get another cat, I'm going to get another Siamese. I've been looking at these:
Traditional Siamese.

I got a little orange-point siamese kitten from the pound to keep our long-haired, deaf, persian cat company during the day while we were both at work. This was back when pets were allowed to stay in our bedroom overnight, and young Clyde decided that under covers at the foot of the bed would be his resting spot - he kept my feet toasty warm for several winters.
He became our neighbor's little girl's best friend and pal: she would dress him up and push him around in her baby buggy, have "tea" with him, and generally baby him.
When we moved across town, we decided to leave Clyde behind so he wouldn't try to get back to the super cushy deal he'd found. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the ripe old age of twenty leaving behind two families with wonderful memories of our friend.
