Norton 2004 or better is pretty good I hear.
Zonealarm has a really nice firewall.
Haven't had such trouble myself, but I'm not using a graphics thing while posting.

I don't use the graphics while posting.. This happens while I'm just on Desktop or only DD. I just ordered a repair on the startup monitor and if it doesn't help I'm ditching it.
