I can't wait to see photos of your new rosewood flooring. I really like that and I just love the look of granite counter tops, I'm a little partial to the black ones and depending on the cabinet finish brown is mighty handsome, too. Have you decided on the color yet ?

Yes, I picked out some grantite - not black, but lighter, with a green cast. My kitchen is too small for black, and I don't want really dark colors in it. The color I chose will also look great with the new stainless steel appliances. I'll take a digital shot of the sample granite tile I have and post it later, if you want. I can't do it right now. I'm not taking any photos of my kitchen right now, either. It's still a semi-disaster. And floor is hideous - the existing vinyl is worn out and needs replacing. The cabinets are OK - they're oak, and I've got somebody lined up to clean them up and restain them if necessary.
