You are correct! Livingston's a purebred Maine Coon from a bloodline that produced its first Grand Champion recently. He's a great cat.
Our other cat, Beauregard (the solid gray cat in the first picture I posted) is also a purebred Maine Coon, a year-old rescue that we got six months ago, but looks VERY different...skinny and won't gain weight because he just doesn't eat that much, and he has an almost feral wildcat look to him. But he's the sweetest cat I've ever known. Livingston is companionable but aloof, he wants to be in the same room with me and my wife but not right with us. Bo demands cuddles. Often. VERY often.
They are both true Viking Kitties in their own ways!

We have a rescued gray tabby short-hair, Smokie, who is like night and day with Sylvie (also rescued), just like your Bo and Livingston.
Sylvie will crawl up onto me - when *she* feels like it and on her terms, only. Smokie is very aloof and doesn't care too much for human contact, but she will stay in the same room with us. Both of them will check out visitors with lots of sniffs and leg-rubbing.
Sylvie, who has Maine Coon in her along the way, is almost anorexic, like your Bo. She only weighs 6-7 lbs, but looks much larger because of her long fur.
Cats are way *cool*! :-)
