I used to live in San Francisco. You'd think that was worse, but lo and behold, New York City trumped 'em. I think it is the combination of whacked leftist reactionary politics and the obnoxiousness of a New Yorker that creates that oh so charming scent.
I was in New York for six years. Long enough for me for a lifetime.
