Looks as if everyone beat me in answering your queries, but I'd like to point out: BTTT no longer works.

Until a short time ago, threads were listed in order of freeping activity--the more posts on a thread, the closer to the top it stayed. "BTTT" and "bump" replies were a freeper's way of making sure that important threads (ie any thread involving moose, cheese, pit bulls, Helen Thomas, or threads with the word "ignore" in the title) would remain at the top of the main thread scroll.

Now all threads are posted in time sequence. FWIW, I preferred the old way, but that's JMHI.
