Decorated Malls
Posted on 11/15/2004 12:04:05 PM PST by notalways
Is it just me or does anybody else feel like we've already had about 2 months of Christmas music/lights/decorations in every store in town? At this rate the valentines should be on the shelves in about 2 days.

I'll have to start a thread with pictures of all the Christmas stuff around here when they start putting it out. None of that Happy Winter crap around here thankfully.
In fact, that's not a bad idea at all-
A thread full of good old-fashioned Christmas decorations full of Nativity scenes and angels.

I'm not exactly a big fan of expanding government but I would support a federal law banning any and all Christmas decorations, music and advertisements until at least after Thanksgiving. Punishable by death of course.
Seasons Greetings.

To me it is not Christmas time until I see A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation.

When I was a kid Santa brought the Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve and it came down on New Years Day. The Holiday season started after Thanksgiving. Not that Im conservative, but I'd like to see it return to that.
Now I already see tree lots springing up.

Oh, to be sure. I didn't want Kerry/Bush crapola to interfere with something really important.

I can live without Christmas Vacation- A Christmas story it seems I've seen that movie in hundreds of bits and pieces but never all at a time. Me I like seeing any of the "puppet" animated movies- Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, etc.
It's just not the same without Burgermeister Meisterburger!
