The fog was pretty thick here this morning. They cancelled the school buses.
I should look for some fog images.
Maybe I could just post the inside of a cloud. :)

Sounds like pleasant weather there.
After the fog burned off, our temps got into the 60's.

Every winter the local schools call the TV and radio stations so the school bus schedule can be broadcast. When the tule fog settles in, it is unsafe to drive. Of course, everyone cannot just stay home but they delay the school buses either one or two hours and if the fog is really thick, buses are cancelled.
Every year you will hear of multiple car pileups on our freeways due to the fog and speed.
In the east, do they ever cancel school because of snow?
