ANY OTHER STATISTIC FOR BIG CITIES?
Since those stats are by state, they can't be accurately compared with the county 2004 vote map. One could compare them to the electoral college- but I'd venture to say that those stats are old.
Louisiana gets the highest murder rate of all but keep in mind that we have a relatively low pop. density except for the New Orleans area which is of course BLUE.
I like to think of it as blue residue on the boot toe from kicking blue states @sses. There are a couple of other minor bruises around the ankle (it's hard work kicking dem blue states)but not Lafayette Parish (parish=county) I'm proud to say!
