Email Campaign Number 54,321. Spread it like a virus
Numbers USA ^ | 10/8/04 | Numbers USA

You say you remember growing up and being able to play at the park without your parents. You rode your bike all day long all over town and didn't need their protection. It's not like that anymore. You say you remember America. You say you want to make a difference. It's time to prove it.

Treat this email as a chain letter and forward it to at least 10 people you know.

If you break the chain, you risk losing control over most of SouthWest America as we know it.

A critical vote has passed in the House, the 9/11 Recommendations Implementation Act.

It passed on a mostly partisan basis. As usual, the Democratic party still doesn't get it.

Look at this link to Numbers USA. Check your representative's vote on the bills. There are comparisons to what the 9/11 commission recommended.

The Democrats have literally forsaken our security in favor of Foreign Invaders, and want to give quarter to Terrorists. Read the side-by side comparisons and then look at the bills the Democrats offered up in response. The things they wanted to remove are absolutely unbelievable. This is no game....but they are still playing it.

I know it will take effort. Probably as much as a half an hour out of your life.

Do YOU remember 9/11?

Do you want another one to happen?

Take the time. Write your representative about this vote. Congratulate him if he voted in your best interests. Tell him you strongly support his actions.

Tear his throat out if he wanted to jeopardize your safety in favor of Illegal Aliens.

It's your choice. It's still your country. They will stop if we all tell them to.

And what a neat Rep. you have. When I was in D C 4 years ago for the Inauguration he treated me and my friend nicer than my own TX Rep. Lampson, did. Thank God we have a new Rep. now.

I saw the name of our Honorable Congressman, Steve Chabot, in the YES column of this vote. And I also saw two of the most liberal POS's in the NO column.

In my book, if Steve Chabot is on the opposite side of Conyers in MI and Pelosi in CA, he's doing a damn fine job!!

A nice pic of Conyers. Works for Pelosi too:

Great resource to check how your rep voted. Proud to say Sue Kelly represents me well and I don't hesitate to tell her, often.

Oh, I don't mean my comment in a hateful, denegrating way either. I just think those who see illegal entry into the US as okay should have more at stake in the issue than just an opinion...

Please, don't play the drama queen. No one has more at stake than another.

Then you won't mind personally sponsoring their stay, would you? or do you actually mean what you wrote if it comes down to YOU having to support them? I sponsor Immigrants - legal ones, BTW, so put your money where your mouth is. Sponsor them or clap your trap.

Show me a bill that is unique to an immigrant and I'll think about it. Until then, perhaps your hateful emotions could be directed elsewhere. Perhaps saving the whales or tuna?

If you don't know the answer to that already, then I doubt anything said here will convince you.

And I didn't expect you to have an answer that made any sense.

How can someone who has a quote from Jim Robinson about the illegals and the welfare state on their page make such a myopic and uninformed statement?

How could someone reading my homepage be so ignorant to what Jim says? Let's be clear, Jims answer, and I agree, is to deal with the benefits. Cut them off and you remove the incentives for those you hate. How blind must you be to not see that?

Illegals in particular do not assimilate into our culture very well. There are so many of 'em, they are recreating their own little slices of Mexico here in America instead of "melting" into the American pot. In 20 years(or less) "they" will be the majority in Texas. What then?

I happen to be an illegal driver every now and then. Either I forget my wallet and have no license, or sometimes I speed and break the law. I don't really have a hard time 'assimilating' into the culture of other drivers or society in general. Where in the constitution doe's it require a new resident of this country to check their culture a the door? By moving to texas must they learn to wear a cowboy hat, chew tobacco, drive a pickup, and post dumb things on the internet? Where does the new citizen handbook say that?

If someone is here illegally, then we can assume they are a criminal and should be treated as such.

No assumptions necessary. If they are here illegally, then they HAVE broken the law. No nuance about it.

I thought that our socialist govt. here in CA passed a law that all English speaking residents have to converse in Spanish in public so not to offend an illegal alien who might happen to ovehear our conversation, no?

/sarcasm (sort of)

Outside of being a totally incomprehensible rant, yours was a great reply. Into hyperbole are we?

Your are either logic challenged or another candidate for the "Denial is not a river in Egypt" club. In either case, you should have someone looking after you. Maybe a hormone imbalance?

You did not address a single point I made aside from flinging hyperboles around in an effort apparently to muddy the waters. When you can respond in a rational manner, get back to me. I'll check in on you in a month or two.

I stand corrected. I realized that there was a conversation coming and wanted to use softer language that what I felt. As you can see ClintonBeGone has not responded. That is either a hot topic for them or they are a mole Troll? (new term?) Either way, I am watching So Cal become infested with illegal aliens. It is creating a divide that will not be closed between the haves and the have nots because of the skyrocketing housing and job markets. If you are not in So Cal do a little research on Santa Ana, CA. That and Anaheim, CA are the two towns with the largest density of hispanics. There is no where for them to expand so they get denser and denser with the illegals. The town to the west of Santa Ana is Fountain Valley and the median home price there is over 600K so there is a real barrier to expansion. They just keep packing more and more families in to the same houses.

your thoughts?

No one has more at stake than another.

I suspect you're thinking along economic lines. Spend a week in my shoes along the US/Mexico border in Arizona and I suspect you'll see things a bit differently.

Hormone imbalance more common in lesbians

Lesbian women are double as likely to have an imbalance of sex hormones, researchers have found (Pic: National Coalition for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth)

Lesbians are more than twice as likely as heterosexual women to have a hormonal imbalance that causes infertility, a British study has found, linking for the first time lesbian sexual orientation with hormonal makeup.

The discovery by researchers from the London Women's Clinic centred on the most common cause of ovarian dysfunction in women, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

Caused by an imbalance of sex hormones, one of the main features of PCOS is hyperandrogenism - an abnormally high concentration of male steroid hormones called androgens. Symptoms related to PCOS include irregular menstrual periods, an inability to conceive, acne or excessive body or facial hair.

The study involved examining 618 women who attended the clinic for fertility treatment between November 2001 and January 2003. Each woman had her medical and sexual histories taken during three sessions with a nurse, a counsellor or a clinical psychologist. Of those interviewed, 254 were lesbian and 364 were heterosexual women.

None of the women studied knew if they had polycystic ovaries seen in PCOS, but 15% had been treated previously for some of the symptoms. The subjects were given a pelvic ultrasound examination on the second or third day of their menstrual cycle, and blood samples taken to measure their levels of reproductive hormones.

The incidence of both polycystic ovaries and PCOS is generally twice as high in women seeking fertility treatment than it is in the general population. In the study, 52% of the women had polycystic ovaries, and 24% had PCOS. But the study showed prevalence of polycystic ovaries and PCOS was much higher in lesbian women than heterosexual women.

Eighty percent of the lesbian women had polycystic ovaries, compared to only 32% in heterosexual women. And lesbian women had higher rates of PCOS as well, with 38% having the syndrome compared to 14% of heterosexual women.

Dr Rina Agrawal, deputy medical director at the London Women's Clinic who led the study, presented her findings to the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology in Madrid overnight.

"We observed a significantly higher prevalence of polycystic ovaries and PCOS in lesbian compared with heterosexual women. Our initial results are also suggestive of a significantly greater hyperandrogenism in lesbians compared with heterosexual women," said Agrawal.

Lesbian and heterosexual women with normal ovaries had similar levels of androgen and SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin), which binds testosterone and other sex hormones.

But analysis of the blood samples showed that the lesbian women seeking fertility treatment had significantly higher levels of male hormones, including testosterone, androstenedione, free testosterone index and luteinising hormone (LH).

SHBG, on the other hand, was significantly lower in lesbian women. If SHBG levels are lowered, a woman with normal levels of testosterone will have elevated levels of free testosterone - which results in symptoms related to hyperandrogenism.

"Our research neither suggests nor indicates that polycystic ovaries-PCOS causes lesbianism, only that polycystic ovaries-PCOS is more prevalent in lesbian women," said Agrawal. "We do, however, hypothesise that hyperandrogenism - which is associated with PCOS - may be one of the factors contributing to the sexual orientation of women."

The researchers also pointed out that in the past 20 years, only 0.1% of published research was dedicated to the healthcare of homosexual individuals. "Our study emphasises the importance of treating these women in a non-judgemental and non-biased manner, so that clinicians may offer them appropriate health advice," Agrawal said.

See you around.

Yeah well, if the shoe fits...

I've got to run along now because an old adage comes to mind that applies here, and I wouldn't want anyone observing to get us confused:

Never argue with a fool--anyone watching may not be able to tell the difference-anon

With that, I'll leave you to your fantasies...

tHE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO FIX MEXICO'S ECONOMY SO WE CAN BE EQUAL PARTNERS IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.

Perhaps when you run out of old adages you'll be forced to rationally discuss these issues.
