The United States, as envisioned by the founders, cannot exist without a continuous purging of the parasites and degenerates and when a voluntary separation opportunity presents itself, this is something that deserves some discussion.
Perhaps a deal can be reached where we trade off a bit of land as a life saving amputation for the preservation of the country.
It will only take one bad election to destroy America. We dodged two bullets with Gore and Kerry. It's time to take the necessary measures to strengthen and preserve the US.

We can keep the land that innumerable Red-Staters throughout history died defending, and that tenth-generation New Englanders with spell-checkers set to UK English do not appreciate, cor!, and merely clean up the real estate a tad.
