Clearly, those of us in the thinking part of the country are at odds with the red(neck) states. Why not formalise the irreconcilable differences between us by having a go at sovereignty? That way, we can rejoin the civilised world, and you can create your Taliban-style theocracy that you so obviously desire.
Wow... Dude... Are you, like, trying for the "most fallacies in one breath" world record?
ROFL - sadly
What's up with that bit of blue at the tip of the Eastern shore of Virginia!?
I stole it from jet jaguar.
Ah, but it's so much more final and satisfying when the ME (aka Admin Moderator) calls it.
:-)
Yes and no. We do eat the fleah and blood. We don't pretend.
He's not our hero. He's our Redeemer.
We worship God. You worship a secular, man-made, inefficient, bloated government.
We too, believe in a safety net. The difference is, we believe that it is our responsibility to provide it. Not the nanny state.
Individual responsibility, God, family, country.
Am I being clear?
The fact is that America is the sum of its parts. Taking your marbles and running away is the quintessential reaction of a child.
This is gross GDP for 2001 by state. Note, however, that each state Wyoming vs Masschusetts in Mining and oil exploration far outstrips Masschusetts while MA outstrips WY for financial services.
My point is this: Stop acting like a child.

Dear BS Liberal,
I hate to tell you, but nearly as many of us Eucharist-receiving Catholics voted for Spitball as for the President of the United States. Are you going to throw all the Spitball-voting Catholics out of your blue counties?
sitetest
I'm not toothless, thank you! Got me a brand new set from that thar dennist. An' they shore are purty.
Those of you in red counties/red states OR red counties/ blue states, I envy you. This kind of nitwit is what I have as neighbors.
Those wonderful Dow members you brag on are "headquartered" in blue states that have paid them with special benefits to do so. The real work and the real product still comes from red states so don't try your liberal garbage spew around here. We know the truth - not some rag from Boston.
With what? :)
Flavored condoms and a "do it yourself" abortion kit. I can't see it including anything else.
I thought you Libs were "open minded, inclusive, and so smart"? LOL! Hey we suffered under Clinton, but we did not want to divide the country. Well at least most of us. That is how are Constitution works. If you do not like it, then you are more than welcome to leave.
I'm in a blue county (Palm Beach) in a newly-ordained red state (FL-yay!)
Those nitwits are *my* neighbors, too.....unfortunately.
TESTIFY, sistah -- ! :)
Judging from the AM's additions to the thread title...
I'm guessing your IP comes from the UK.
Oh yeah. They have guns. Those cute little Saturday night specials like the prostitutes in the old west movies used to keep in their garters. They just don't want their liberal leaders to know. See, they're hypocrytes.
an enlightened society
Oh, you mean a communist country!!!
