LOL! Yeah, the area has a lot of liberals in it. During the campaingn there were Kerry signs all over the city, but if you went outside of town it was Bush country.

Been to Carbondale quite a few times and one of the papers there, maybe the Southern Illinoisan, reads like Pravda.
