Isn't living in Carbondale sort of like being in occupied territory? I mean, Jackson County has got to be one of the very few "downstate" areas that went for Kerry. And the folks there are still mourning Paul Simon's passing.

It looks like we will definitely have fall weather by Thanksgiving. It is getting cool here too but we have not had any night time freezing temps yet.
