As others have stated, Sinatra in his golden years was a Republican and donated money to the party pretty consistently. Dean Martin was more or less apolitical but lived by conservative ideals. He and The Duke were good friends and were in films together, notably The Sons of Katie Elder and Rio Bravo (sort of a rehash of El Dorado). Sammy Davis Jr. was also conservative. Not sure about Lawford or Bishop, but they were more or less just cling-ons. The trio of Sinatra/Martin/Davis were the real draw at the Sands in Las Vegas. Wish I had a chance to see them. I'm sure they'd just shake their heads at what has happened to music culture nowadays.

That's the reverse. Rio Bravo came first.
