I never ate raccoon or anything else with hands
I never wanted possum frying in my pan
I never cared for venison, though some folks think it’s great
I had really rather take an old cold tater and wait

I don’t even like chicken, unless it’s boiled and baked
In dressing, dumplings, soup or stew, I’ll take it on my plate
Even ham is not as good as when I was a teen
But I’ll still eat sausage that’s made by Jimmie Dean

Catfish when it’s fried real crisp, I’ll eat a bushel of
And a juicy New York strip is among the things I love
I like shrimp or crawfish, either fried or etouffee
In scampi or in salad, I like it any way

I dearly love sukiyaki, especially when the chef
Puts on such a durn good show before I stuff myself
Yes, there are many things that I really like to eat
I may not eat a thing with hands but, I’ll eat a lot with feet

Hi Amy!

I spent the election in a hopsital getting the most rigorous physical in 26 years. I'm fine. 2 treadmills, nuclear medicine scan, ultrasound of everything, I had high blood pressure that produced chest pains. All caused by salt and caffiene and sweets. I am healthy without bad eating choices. Not overweight, either. Cholesterol is fine. I let myself go in 2 years of indulgence. That's over. I want to be 6' 165 lbs again and fast. 15 lbs less.

I have a parent/teacher conference tomorrow morning. I think she is going to tell me that Marissa has a mind of her own. :)

It's been fantastic! My predictions were right on target.

I predicted GW was going to win, and Keyes was going to get 20%. Actually, he got 27% hehe.

I've been missing most of the week. But I'm doing fine.

My SIL passed away Sunday and I've been busy with company and family.

Everything should be getting back to normal soon.
