Well, the derivation of this screen name is kind of esoteric, so I'm not surprised that it threw some people for a loop.

If you've ever read the novel "Everything Is Illuminating" you'd instantly recognize this handle as trading on one of that novel's most uttered lines. One that is repeated by its protagonist-seemingly-ad infinitum.

The "bro-ham" aspect of the handle comes from an hilarious 'SNL' skit done by Horatio Sanz, which was actually a spoof of an earliar Saturday Day Night Live sketch starring Steve Martin and Dan Ackroyd.

Unfortunately, you can't insert commas to separate different words in your screen name, so the full meaning of my handle is somewhat obscured and more difficult to decipher.

I was actually planning on creating an homage to the frequent malapropisms-whether by people who use English as their native or adopted tongue-that I stumble across on FreeRepublic from time to time.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to condense it into a usable screen name. Too wordy.
