Here in Georgetown I can see a few. Have seen them very thick like rain or light snow before. And yes it is spiders they do this on clear days like today with a light to moderate breeze after a cold front. Wind from the north so I always thought they were moving south for the winter.

wow. there too?! about a week ago, I saw very LARGE, black spiders in a field nearby. There must have been nearly a dozen of them. And they were just lurking. Now, they've disappeared.

Keyword doesn't say 'darkshearesfault', and I'm in NY at the moment. Seriously, NOT my fault!
Yes it does, we don't care, and I bet it is!

LOL! That was my question. Anytime we see spider webs in Georgia it tends to be spiders.

I have read about spiders "ballooning"; Yes, they love to balloon. Especially in the fall at Sandia, New Mexico.

Well my wife is out buying a digital camera right now. So if I can figure out how to use and IF I can figure out how to post pictures and IF when I get home from work the field next to my house has every blade of grass with a spider streamer on it like sometimes happens I will do that.
The camera is being bought because we are going on a cruise and wife took some underwater pictures with a cheap disposable the last trip while snorkeling. They came out ok and for this trip I suggested she get a CHEAP $30 reusable underwater camera like I see on EBAY. So this morning after researching the web she tells be she getting a $300 Canon and will order the underwater cover later. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut.
