Those are some good ideas, if they can be boiled down a bit. Another concept is "troop support for the long haul". Troops have a good idea of what they need for comfort, and families know what to send for goodies from home. But there are certain "durable goods" and tools that aren't even on the radar screen, but could be highly valuable out in the field.
And I don't have any contacts in the Freeper Foxhole, but maybe you do. We can take this to e/freepmail if we need to discuss more details.
