I think they are talking about more things than the spring. "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action."

But then again, things always break in threes.

Whew! Rosie, glad you came out okay! Between your first wreck post and the update, I was thinking..."Oh great...Rosie doesn't need her insurance rates to double for the next three years or so.

Then again, losing a wheel while driving makes breaking a garage door spring sound like not too big a deal. :)
