*sigh*

My brothers have always had very firm and not very logical ideas on what is or is not girly.

For awhile I remember several of them wouldn't wear red - and certainly nothing with purple in it at all, even if it was just as part of a plaid pattern. This was when they were four and six, I think. And no amount of arguing on Mom or Dad's part did any good.

Some of my favorite jackets have been red and I have had some pretty cool shirts with a good bit of purple on them. I prefer tactical colors er... I mean 'earth tones'. Bright colors are good but only if you are sure you are not going to be attacked by ninja and that is almost never certain. Those darn ninja turn up in the most obscure places.
