*laughing* So it does!!
Here I thought it was a tweaked out deer. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Honest precious...and good night.
I've been just roaring ever since you posted that!
It's easier to see on the tee-shirt...the graphic takes up the whole back of the shirt.
Good night! Heed no nightly noises.
I prefer those Beetles in red or yellow, but you're the big fan!
Nighty night XGI!
Steve wants a beige one...how boring is that? But it's not like we'll have much choice anyway...unless we get it painted ourselves.
This just in: Two large inflateable Frosty the Snow Man lawn decorations have suddenly and inexplicably deflated. Film at 11:00
I'm sure there's all kinds of things wrong with it, but I am really excited. I may have taken off a fraction too much from the limbs, when strung, the 68" string lies 8" from the belly side of the handle, can't remember now if that is within the parameters. One limb arcs a little more deeply than the other, I've now got it figured out that I only need to shave a very little from the one arcing more shallowly oo make them match. But both limbs arc without (to my unpractised eye) any terrible flat spots.
Tomorrow afternoon, I'll measure the draw weight and length, see what's there.
Osage, I could never in a million years have made this thing without your help. I'm in your debt. Thanks.
From one Dutchman to another;-)
Well done 2J, well done. Guess the pyschadelic paint job would be a bit overtop up. Blue is good. Green would be better.
Hi Ruthy. Yeah, first baby is hardest.
Sigh...the timers ain't workin' together. I'll have ta figger that out later this week...
I like green! The classic color green they used to paint them. It's actually my favorite!
You'll probably end up doing just that.
Yeah, I was worried whether the arrow was still in my yard, since it was nearly dark when I let it go. But I found it after a little while, no blood on it.
Sam - I'd untwist the string a bit to get the fistmele down to about six inches. You're correct, shave off the shallower bending limb. No flat spots is good, no abrupt bends is good is as well. A smooth flowing arc.
You're entirely welcome, one Dutchman to another.
The bus/van version of those was pretty cool, too.
Evenin' Sam!
Congrats on the bow shooting!
Probably so, because once they're painted and done up, they get pricey! I'd just soon sink my money into one that runs pretty well and might not look so pretty and then fix it up a little at a time.
