Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I saw about two seconds and decided that was plenty.
However, I'm wondering...how exactly did you come across that, hmmmm?

"branches growing back into the trunk" okay, it's a Cletus tree for sure.
Good luck tommorrow as you mold the minds of the young ones placed in your care. (the little suckers don't know how good they had it up till now.)

Hehehe! You knew just where I was going!
We'd sprayed the channel where the wheels go, but never thought to spray the spring!

so... how long has that sight been in yer favorites?... Like I said, Google Legolas and Aragorn with the safe search off. That was mild.

I didn't go to the link. Saw file name on a mouseover and decided that there are some things you just can't un-see. Not worth the risk. :-)

That was mild. I imagine you did extensive research to come to that conclusion...

Like I said, Google Legolas and Aragorn with the safe search off. That was mild. See, this is something that it wouldn't occur to me to do...

BTW... I think Sonya is pretty impossible to be around right now.... Here's the email:
Tim is going to be in Seattle tonite at a Rob McKenna thing and if I go into labor will you come get me? I will call my parents first but just in case they aren't home will you take me. You both live a ways away so maybe it would be better if I took myself. But maybe you would want to stand in for Tim and be my labor coach too?,
Can you even imagine the flack Tim took today about needing to go to Seattle, or anywhere, today?

OK... nevermind, yes, he's our new AG. So...? big deal? what sort of event could he be going to?
Or... is she still like five weeks out and just freaking?
This, too, is possible.
