Mornin'. I'm a little slow. I have a nasty day ahead - think I'm going to be there late getting a computer up and running.
One more week of school, then finals, then I'm going home...

I read that article and the term "saponins" seemed familiar. I grabbed my bag of quinoa (a grain) and the directions were to rinse the quinoa before cooking to wash away any "natually occuring bitter tasting saponins". It went on to explain that "Saponins are soap-like substances that occur on the outside of the quinoa grains. It is believed they are put there by nature to deter insects and birds."
So saponins deter insects, birds and LDL?? Kewl.

Well it helps that I liked the music and voices of the anime and saw that first. Also the main character being a male college age slacker trying to find out how he wants to live his life made connecting easy for me.
I like a minimalist styles a lot. Maison is one of only a handful of anime I can point to that have no supernatural strangeness or scifi factors. It is just normal life. The art is not aver the top and I like that in some series. I like a wide variety of art styles. I buy manga because I like to see what an artist can do with just black ink. I use to do line art illustrations for our publishing company and I have a fondness for the simplicity of it.

I'll say!
I bet we have frequently "washed away" the things that naturally keep our cholesterol in check...

Once upon a time, I wondered if there was anything that the South Park dudes wouldn't do. It would appear that this question has now been answered in the negative.~chuckling~ Anything to make point. And maybe even if they really don't have a point ;~D

I like my covers tucked in. I mean tight. I don't want those covers to move, you know? I can't comment on this! cover neuroses are a little close to home...
To: trini
I'm trying to think of things I could make for Christmas...save some money. As if I have any TO save...
But I didn't start brainstorming until today. Little late.
The brothers that have far more cash than me and who buy themselves whatever they want when they want it really have me stumped. I have NO clue what to do for them.

My problem is that he wants to borrow money to but Christmas presents and I say make do with what we have. If people don't get, they will understand that it is certainly not because we haven't thought of them, but because we just can't afford it. He is also worried that our kids will have pretty slim pickings, my attitude is "Yeah, so they will".
