Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
A new road or a secret gate...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Right click and save target as.... it's a 16 mb file so it might take you awhile, and it will never stream.

Right...got it downloading now.
I'm gonna read to the boys, get them settled into bed and get the house picked up a bit...I'll be back if Steve doesn't come home before I can.
We got our OSU orange lights up and our Christmas tree over the weekend...the house looks so festive!

Evening all...
Today the c/r was putting up bracket holders for shelves and put a screw straight thru the water line for the sprinkler system...so my plans to test the system by setting fire to the place must be delayed for 24 hours >:D
His room's soaked so he has the air mattress that was my bed before I bought my real one...
So what did we do all evening?
Fussed with the computers.
Makes an absurd sort of sense...

Well...at least you're less likely to cause major damage while fussing with the computers...

Says he, the maintenance-type dude who responded to the call said the damage was less extensive than usual...
Apparently, this happens a lot.

Somebody just banged HARD on my door...scared us all to death. They had a real weird sounding voice...almost like they were trying to disguise it, like baby-talk. Said they were selling meat. I didn't open the door and told them through the door that I wasn't interested but they wouldn't leave so I told them I was calling the police which I did. They left, but the police are driving through the neighborhood now.
It's almost 9pm here! It's been dark for hours!
I wish Steve was home...

You have my bow.
Forget that...you have my M1903A3. That makes big ugly holes.

I've got the house locked up, but I had the front curtains open! So the Christmas tree could shine out.

Thanks. :-) I like big holes.
I can't even get a hold of Steve...he's at the school library and there's no way to call him.
Don't know what good it'd do anyways.

That trailer is awesome. When is the DVD released?

I've heard of that before. Believe it or not there are people that actually buy up old meat cuts from distributors and then try to sell them door to door.
I have no idea why people would buy meat from some door to door dude with a truck.
But nonetheless... do not open the door.
