Heh...join the club.

A bunch of us are doing NaNoWriMo, and I think almost everyone is at least somewhat behind due to one thing or another.

And characters never do quite what you expect 'em to do...

I'm addicted to another online game lately, so when I'm not running a payroll, I'm playing JewelQuest on Yahoo.

Somethin' stoppin' ya?

Well, during working hours, yeah.

That and the fact that since my last post, my laptop crashed about half a dozen times. Tech support came and sprinkled some magic dust and said a prayer over it. We'll see, but I've been having multiple problems lately.

As fer the work thing...sigh...one of our Department Director's pulled me aside earlier today and said the boss troll wanted to know if "Corin has the experience to do this..."

YOU MEAN LIKE WHAT'S ON MY RESUME AND IN MY FLIPPIN' JOB DESCRIPTION? They yanked it all away from me over politics and the person they wanted to do it just got another job.

What a concept, after all this time to actually be considered to be allowed to do the job I was hired to do...

Heh...so that's a positive development, no? Hopefully?

Heh...so that's a positive development, no?

Well, yes and no. Only if they let me do that and get someone else to do what I'm currently doing. I don't have time for both.

And then there's the fact that in litle over a year, things are guaranteed to change around here...and that's all I'm sayin' about that...

Matching game. 3 in a row until you turn all the boxes gold.

It's timed, so it adds a nice bit of pressure to it! ;-D
