What's the breakdown of Franklin County? Does voting tend toward either party?

Frankiln Co. has been soooo DEM the past few years, you'd think we're from NYC or Philly. However, I have and voted this morning for a Conservative Democrat, Jim Long, for insurance commissioner of NC. He has been doing an outstanding job for the people of NC for many years. You show me a Dem like Zell Miller and I'll definitely pay attention to what he says and does. I'm registered GOP too.
