First time posting, sorry it's a vanity. Just a quick weather report from Cuyahoga County.
Time: 0745
Raining, gloomy, crappy, chilly.... it looks like even God is conspiring to keep those Democrats away from the polls!
That one is great!
All Republicans: Get to the polls if you have to swim, if you have to brave tornadoes, if you have to walk through fire...
All Democrats: It's rainy and you have the day off. Go back to bed. Turnout will be low, and all the Republicans are staying home, too.
My brother and I already voted for BUSH, we got to the polling place about 15 mins before the doors open.
My guess was, about 120 people, but, it went ok.
Hope it rains hard only in the DEMOCRAT strong holds today.
Every cloud has it's silver lining.
READ PSALMS chapter 2
In it, it says " why do the heathen rage, they do they imagion a vain thing. "
" But he that is in heaven LAUGHS !!!!!! "
GOD may say,, Go ahead , sue me, what are you going to do about it ?
In that chapter, it says, but, the LORD will have them in desersion "
Not for long- showers and rain expected throughout the day.
Just voted in Westerville, OH(suburb of Columbus). Was in line at opening time, 6:30AM. Was in the booth at 7:15AM. Pressed the button FOR Bush at 7:15.01AM and AGAINST Gay Marriage by 7:15.02AM. Started to drive to work and the rain started to fall. God, I love the rain on the election day.
Half hour west of Cleveland. Steady rain - polls very crowded between 6:30 - 7:00 a.m.
Where and when is W supposed to be in Columbus today anyway?
Insult I heard years ago from a student: "Your Mama works in a mailbox."
I think this may be part of the reason the President is going to Ohio today. He's probably up by a couple of points. But with bad weather he's leaving nothing to chance. Jim
The welfare recipients are just waking up around noon. They've got to pick up their cigarettes and booze, then have their nails done. Meanwhile talking on their cell phone. These things take time.
