Put your ear to the ground. The Calvary is coming.

There is a lot of doom and gloom settling in on the threads today. As we head to the finish line in the 2004 election, many of us are feeling the strain and a lot of worry. You'd have to be an ostrich not to see what's gone on in past elections and we all know that the Left will pull out all the stops this time in an effort to regain the White House. However, the thing you should know is that the Democrat machine is having to work harder than ever this year against an extremely effective GOP steamroller that is working every area of the country.

There is still time for you to make a difference in this race. If you are a person who is particularly worried about fraud, volunteer to poll watch. There are never enough eyes. By being a part of the solution, you will feel more confident in the process in your local community. If you are a person who is really worried about turnout, contact your local Republicans and go work for a few hours making phone calls or whatever they need for you to do. If it's too late for that, look within your own circle and get out the vote tomorrow. Drive people to the polls if they need transportation, help in finding their polling place, or maybe just some support because they are new or infrequent voters.

You may have noticed that the majority of those who are working in the campaign seem up beat and confident as we go into the last 24 hours of this race. They see what's really happening out there and in most areas, it's VERY good. George Bush is in a position of strength with election day only hours away. He is leading or closing the gap in states that no one dared to believe he would do well in. Step away from the keyboard for an hour or two, get out there in the grass, and you will feel the rumble under your feet. I think Ronald Reagan's Silent Majority is stepping up to the microphone and is about to make a statement.

At this point the election result is in God's hands. If Kerry wins so be it. It is a sign. Personally I think the fraud may be so huge that a Kerry win seems probable. I think by the legit votes Bush is going to clearly win but with all the lawyers and liberal loons out there it seems almost impossible to win against people willing to do ANYTHING to win.

Republicans are fired up this time. The religious right has been pushing to get out the vote more than ever. Mothers fear a Kerry win, so that's also a huge plus.
Other than voter fraud, Bush should do very well. This is Bush country.

We had a huge crowd in Bucks County PA last week. W was on fire and so was the crowd.

I had to laugh, the papers said that there were 13K in attendance. In reality, there were 23K. They also saw fit to split the front page the next morning showing a picture of protesters. What they didn't show was the real picture.....less than 20 protesters out of 23K people.

I think it was the largest crowd ever gathered in Bucks for anything, let alone a political rally.

Pretty cool. WE HAVE THE MO, DON"T LET THEM GET YOU DOWN WITH THE REPORTING!

Regards,

T

To those who are worried.
Let not your heart be troubled.
Just VOTE, and this will be the result.
Did I mention that you have to VOTE to make this a reality?

Finally, a thread I didn't regret clicking on - and a vanity at that! Thanks for the optimism - it's in short supply around here right now. GO W!

Everything --everything-- looks very good for George W. Bush, especially the decision to drop the Veep into Colorado Springs today to help Pete Coors keep the Senate in GOP hands. Zogby begins his move to Bush, and Quinnipiac has Bush up 8 in Florida and Pennsylvania tied. Going to be tough to get all those "new voters" the desperate Dems are touting to the polls in Ohio and Pennsylvania tomorrow, given the weather --and the fact that many of them don't exist. The machine that Rove built is real, however, and observing it here in Colorado up close, amazingly effective...

I actually had spelled it as intended in my draft but for some reason typed the other word into the title box. Like you, I personally believe we need aid from both so maybe it was a mistake with a purpose.

During lunch today, I went over to say a prayer at the Liberty Bell.

Out front in front of the old pavillion (now the security screening area) there was a guy with a bullhorn saying 'Vote Kerry'. I went over and asked him who he was with.. moveon.org? He said he was independent and handed me a card for his website: hopevsfear.com

So we got talking... he was going on about the military industrial complex, Halliburton, etc, etc. It was a good discussion.. I countered all his points. After about 10 minutes, he picked his bullhorn up again and said vote for Kerry.

I asked him before he did that again, just think about one thing. I said after Christopher Reeve died, John Edwards told the Nation that folks would get up out of their wheelchairs. (I use a wheelchair). I told him that I have dealt with my disability and work 40 hours a week and have a great quality of life and feel like I'm contributing to society. I asked him please don't allow someone who is giving false hope to people that have so little near the White House.

He had a really horrified look on his face. He started to put his bullhorn in the plastic bag and I went into security screening... He was just staring after me...

Talked to a few co workers... got a few undecideds... GOTV some friends I know are GOP... things are looking great on my corner in Philadelphia.

May the Calvary come for each of us.

He is risen!

And the Father has given Christ power and authority over all.

Even Bush haters.

Does anyone here recognize the Republican party?

I was raised to believe that the GOP was the party of lower taxes and smaller government. What happenned?

Why do we need a dept. of Homeland Security? I thought that was what we had a 2nd Amendment for.

There is only one choice for president. The only option for people who believe in the Constitution and a Christian form of government. Libertarian.

You are right. Optimism is in short supply, but it should not be. The real news underlying the slanted headlines continues to point to a solid Bush win. I think he'll collect more than 300 electoral votes and that the popular vote will be more decisive than we've seen in a long time.

Keep the faith and "Go W".
