Kerry gets it wrong...again

KERRY: "I couldn't be more thrilled with the Packers win today... This streak started with Herbert Hoover, and will continue this week when George Bush, the only president since Hoover to lose jobs, loses his. When the Redskins get beat before the election, the incumbent loses. The Packers have done their part, this Tuesday, we'll do ours..."

FACT CHECK: Redskins lost 13-38 to Buffalo on Sunday, 11/03/96. Two days later Clinton (the incumbent) was re-elected.

Bet al-Qerry was just thrilled that they weren't playing at Lambert Field, too.

I flipped a coin and it came up tails 11 times in a row last month. That means Bush will win.

As someone said, it's the HOME game that counts. Not the last game before the election.

Meh, silly superstition.

I expect if the packers weren't the favorite going in, we would not have heard so much about this 'trend'.

The one tread I do follow though is bad weather, and the Great Lakes Region is still looking like lots and lots of rain.. :) I hope there's lots of wind and thunder too.

I voted absentee last Monday, and everytime I vote absentee G.W.Bush wins. It happened in 2000 and it will happen in 2004.

He will win again on Tuesday as long as we ALL vote. Don't be shy or afraid of the rain or cold....JUST VOTE!!

Well, I'm personally not superstitious... but if I WERE, I'd say Kerry just jinxed himself.
