I for one really like seeing homepages with something other than blank, FLAGS are a good start and all FReepers should do this much, thank you.

I stated this post to ask for a link to somewhere with state flags on it, but then I realized that I was a republican and could actually do something for myself without waiting for subsistence. That said, here is a pretty good source of state flags: http://www.law.ou.edu/hist/flags/stflag.shtml

I'm fairly new here. Are there home pages associated with this site? On my personal website I have a US flag but I'm not too proud of the People Socialist Republic of Illinois flag.

I'm gettin' busy on it right now! I'm always curious about that too but I also look in a person's medicine cabinet too

My state flag is cool.
It's got a lone star on it.

Wasting your breath!
These folks generally want no clues as to their ID and that is not necessarily a bad thing these days.

Bumping a good idea.
By putting a state or other locality flag on your home page, you can opt to see locality specific notices such as notices of FReeper meetings and events in your state. You can alert people to news specific to your state and be alerted by others.

I picked up a very nice (13K) animated waving flag GIF somewhere on the web (I'd give credit but I can't remember where).
Anyone wants it, please go to my page and grab it:

BTW, I got one get out the vote volunteer at my door and a phone call from one on Thursday (Lakeland, FL). Appears our people are working pretty hard around here.
