Is Blockbuster trying to effect the election?

I just visited my local Blockbuster, and I was disgusted to see that they doubled their stock of Fahrenheit 911 rentals this week (From about 20 copies to 40 or so). Now, I know that there may be a renewed interest because we are just days away from a national election, and they may just be trying to meet anticipated demand, but it still seemed a little partisan on the part of the movie rental giant. Am I being paranoid or does Blockbuster have an agenda?
BTW - They have one copy of Fahrenhype 911, and another movie called Bush's Brain.

They're in business to make money. The the lifespan of Moore's tape ends on Nov 3. They are probably trying to sell as many as they can -- either from old inventory or new stock before the election.

If memory serves, Blockbuster is part of Viacom which also owns CBS, all of which is owned by our favorite Bush supporter (not!) Sumner Redstone.

So what you are saying is that Blockbuster has a bunch of unsold copies of Fart 911.

No they were rentals. I'm sure they'll go on the pre-viewed movie sales rack next week.

Is Blockbuster trying to effect the election? I doubt it. But, being as how they are owned by VIACOM, they probably are trying to affect the election.

Who cares? Michael Moore only creates Bush voters, though I know that is not his intention.

They doubled the amount of DVD's GOOD!!!! Did you see how Osama was pretty much reading from the Fahrenheit script? He even mentioned the pety goat book!!!! Kerry is toast! So is Fatty Moore

I noticed that myself! To funny cause there were lots of Faharheit 9/11 here at the Blockbuster down the street and hardly any rented. Usually they only have a few movies for the least rented, but not this time. It kind of bother's me cause there was one movie i really wanted to see that barely had any copies, grrrr!

Yes I noticed that and I'm sure Kerry did as well. I just love when people look stupid and Kerry looks like a real dope!
