Yes, Biden said a defeated and demoralized America that cannot threaten Iran, Syria will be the "only good thing" to come of Bush's Iraq policy. I don't know why the republicans never ran with this.

I just watched Dem. Senator Joe Biden on Hardball. Interspersed with clips from Dick Clarke, Chris Mathews led and followed Biden on the most wrong headed, anti-defense tirades I have heard in a long time. The climax was Clarke saying the "scary" thing is that the Bush Administration might next attack Iran or Syria. But Biden had the answer.
Biden said, in no uncertain terms, that once the Bush Administration fails in Iraq, they won't dare attack another country such as Iran or Syria. He said our military will be completely demoralized and depleted, and the other countries will have no fear of America. He actually said that the "only good thing" to come out of this "failed policy" is that the Bush Administration will not dare repeat the "failed policy" elsewhere.
It wasn't the first time in the segment I felt like yelling "Who's side are you on!" Biden and Mathews also said Iraq cannot be governed except by a "bastard" i.e. Sadaam Hussein, and that's why it was a mistake to try to bring democracy there.
Biden also went on that it would take 5 years and 100,000 troops to effectively transition Iraq to self rule, but the Bush Administration was doing it "on the cheap." Last time I checked, we have over 100,000 troops in Iraq and Bush is spending $82 Billion there. But Biden seemed to pretend that we are pulling out in June.
According to Biden, the great failure of the Bush Administration is an emphasis on missile defense. Having seen New York attacked by jet aircraft, Biden sees no need to protect Los Angeles from a North Korean nuclear missile.
Biden is also certain that rogue states do not aid terrorists, that the Bush Administration just can't accept that these things are cooked up in an apartment somewhere, and so they mistakenly believed countries like Iraq were aiding the terrorists. Whoa! Did Biden ever hear of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan? Iran's and even Saudi Arabia's aid to terrorists? Syria's Bekka Valley loaded with terrorists?
It was truly a journey through the looking glass. The loss of Iraq was presumed, but of course it was good to remove Sadaam Hussein, it just wasn't done "the right way."
Biden should be hounded from the Senate for saying it will be a good thing if our military is defeated, depleted, and demoralized, and for giving assurances of safety to our enemies. But then, he's a democrat.

This is treason. Imagine in WW 2 a Senator praising Germany and Japan. What is wrong witht he American left? WW2 was ran by the American left of the time and they did great. The new left is so lilly livered it is unreal. Who started this movement by the left? Eugene McCarthy? It is sickening. And the moron will be re-elected.

This would be INTERNATIONAL FASCISM!!!!
Make no mistake about it. If sKerry and his minions (Holbrooke, Biden, etc.)--backed by Soros--gain power, they will commit GENOCIDE against the Serbian people!!!! (I base this on these miscreants stated plans for the Balkans, to break up Serbia further, etc.) They will use the fate of the demonized Serbs as a warning to Christians and others (Israelis?) who don't go along with their program. And they will use the jihadists as their "inforcers", as they have done in the past.
