I didn't watch Donohue because I despise the idiot. Did watch another idiot (Bob Schieffer) on Larry King live. He was mouthing the CBS party line (has to keep his job, you know), and advanced the proposition that it's time for the Electoral College to be scrapped. The Founding Fathers put that in to protect the smaller states from the big ones and it would take a constitutional amendment and approval by 38 states to remove it in favor of a popular vote. I am not ready for this country to be run by places like California and New York. If that should ever happen we would be no better than a Third World cesspool.

I remember my college professor made the same point about the electorial college and O'Reilly made the same point tonight. Why should the big city areas have all the say?
