From personal experience. I used only the sample test materials LSAT itself provides. And I studied it to understand the methodology of each section of the test. And then the day before I ate good meals and went to bed early to be fully rested and alert for the test. I scored very well.

forget law school. Take the MCAT and serve humanity. We have to many lawyers already.

I took it in October. Buy all the old LSATs from lsac, solve each one twice. If after two or three you are getting in the 150's, consider taking a course. If you are in the 160s/170s, you'll do better studying on your own.
