Do you know of any retail businesses that have put up Bush signs right at their place of business? For the past several months I've been taking notice of places that support the President and aren't afraid to show it.

My doctor has a Bush poster in his office and he will openly engage in conversation with his patients about why he supports the President. When he saw my Bush T-Shirt on a recent visit he lit up with glee and went on to explain how the trial lawyers and medical community were at each other's throats here in Florida. Although my lawyer doesnt have a Kerry sign in his office he is openly hostile to any discussion of the President's re-election.

I've seen a number of small, independent businesses with Bush signs in their windows but can honestly say I havent seen any Kerry signs on business windows (but I am sure they are there somewhere.)

Here in Venice Florida, the Quick Print on Tamiami Trail is located right next door (in the same building) as the Democratic Headquarters. It's a riot. The Quick Print shop has more Bush signs in their windows that the Dem party has Kerry signs in theirs. I stopped by Quick Print today and she asked if I had any BIGGER signs.

This company has courage. Let's face it, no matter where you are, there are at least 35 to 40% Kerry supporters..even in Republican strongholds... so a business that puts up a Bush sign risks offending at least that many people. But these businesses don't care!

In the past two weeks I have worn a BUSH T SHIRT no matter where I go. I do it to promote Bush, but also to see what kind of comments I get when I go in stores and businesses..from the owners and other customers. I've been pleasantly surprised with the great comments and compliments and have not heard any real bad comments from the Kerry folks but have seen a few sneers.

I'd love to hear of any other experiences out there for people proudly 'showing their colors' ...especially businesses.

Jim, I'm assuming that you're in Venice, California. I live in Northern California - right between Sacramento and San Francisco and spend quite a lot of time in the East Bay doing business. Except for when I go into my client's offices, (and sometimes I forget) I wear my W'04 button. A lot of people know it's political, but don't know what it stands for. Great conversation piece. I'm like a crazy woman these days. I engage people in conversation all day, wherever I am. And I, too, am finding a lot of Bush supporters out there. One young man asked me where he could get a button (I gave him mine), one lady told me she thought I was courageous to wear the button. Read my lips: It's about NATIONAL SECURITY & SURVIVAL!! Go W!!

I'm in PA, in Chester County, which is a GOP stronghold - although growth has brought in a lot of 'rats recently.

I live near a pocket of 'rat activity. A new sandwich shop that opened in the spring near my house has had a Kerry sign out front for a few weeks, but it recently has gone away - I don't know if they removed it or it was taken. But I will not go there any longer.

Closer to the "town" area, I have seen one antique shop with a Kerry sign in the window. I won't be going there, not that I would have anyway.

On the way to my office, I see one or two businesses with Bush signs (a barber shop and a construction company), but that's about it.

We wear our Bush/Cheney pins in public. At a retail store recently a clerk recently said quite LOUDLY "GOOD! President Bush, Thats who I'm voting for. I can't stand that Kerry man!". We chuckled because she was really loud about it. There were people standing in line.

So we just politely said, "Well, we both served during Nam, so that should just about explain our feelings about the traitor Kerry! We feel President Bush *gets it* when it comes to terrorism. People better wake up or were going to live like Israeli's do. You're not going to be able to shop in malls like this without fear of suicide bombers if we don't win this thing in Iraq. There have been terrorists there since the early 90's. Saddam Hussein paid suicide bombers families for their kids blowing themselves up. President Bush has what it takes to do the job and not run. We need a man like him. It took 8 long years to get us hit on 9-11. Terrorist did a lot of target practice on us before the big one. President Bush was only in office for 6 and a half months when we got hit big. We're sure voting for him."

Every chance we have to voice our opinion we do.

:o)
