A tour of duty in Vietnam was 12 months, Kerry did 4 months and left early. That Kerry "did his duty" in Vietnam is open to debate. Many veterans don't forgive Kerry for his anti-war activities in 1971.

Nice try, but you're going to have to do better than that to sell Kerry around here.
