BBC TV reports GOP votes swindle

Yesterday BBC's Newsnight programme had as its leading story a report about alleged rigging procedures by the GOP with regard to early voters. Two claims: votes by African Americans were said to be falsified after the voting act, to make them into Rep votes. And private investigators were said to be posted in front of voting locations, to scare away impressionable (?) black voters from voting at all. It all looked completely made up, choreographed, and diligently scripted beforehand. Funniest part was when a young black voter was refused at the ballot box, then went in again followed by heavy BBC camera machinery, and then was allowed to vote because of the media accompanying him. I say funny, because I saw through it all. But it would be very sad if many folks would fall for such an atrocious scam. Did any of this reach the USA? Cheers, flaggie.

Suggestion: Everyone should take one of those cheap throwaway cameras with them to the polls and actually take or pretend to take pictures of the commies standing around with demonrat signs. Then inform them you're turning their picture over to your State Attorney General. Should be great fun! Get em all lathered up

The "big lie" promote by the socialist BBC, have they had any more resignations lately. At least we don't have to pay to have our media abuse our country, we get it for free.

Hey!
Did the BBC just employ Charlie Broker?
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
The BBC is FULL OF Charlie Brookers.
I see the BBC hate-Bush and disinformation machine is every bit as vigorous as ever since I left Britain.
Never believed much of what the BBC said about America when I lived in Britain, believe the BBC even less now.
Off to the rubbish bin with this one. At least now I don't have to pay the hated TV license ever again in my life or listen to those insufferably arrogant BBC news readers.

Welcome to FR, by the way.
Where in the U.K. are you? I'm originally from Canada. Commonwealth and all, you know.
It's amazing that the BBC would attempt to promote such shameless propagandization. The CBC in Canada has done it for decades, though. The apple doesn't fall far from the branch.

I notice this story mentions Jacksonville. The early voting locations (libraries) are mostly in heavily dem or minority areas.
Bradham Brooks NW Regional
1755 Edgewood Ave W
Southeast Regional
10599 Deerwood Park Blvd
Regency Square Regional
9900 Regency Square Blvd
Willowbranch
2875 Park St.
The notion that these locations are not crawling with democrat observers is just insane.

Keep in mind that the BBC correspondent
reporting this, Greg Palast, is on record as opposing the Bush Administration in articles he has written for British tabloids. As a result, anything he says, even under the guise of the vaunted BBC, is VERY suspect as far as I'm concerned.

Just damn.

Sounds like 2000 all over again. I read today that they already started the lawsuits. The Dems always create problems when there are none just to get people all riled up!

It is really nice they got the leaded Colorado Democratic Party Play book and decided to do their part in the false accusations department.

He also wrote "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy" - this guy is so biased he shouldn't even be called a journalist. He makes Michael Moore seem credible.

AFO -
thanks for jumping in here. I hadn't expected negative replies, as I saw that report yesterday with my own eyes. Why do people suspect one to be a troll in such cases? I have to learn something yet, I guess - but on the other hand, I know I would not immediately seek refuge in such a tactic if I'd find a story strange, or not peppered with references. I'd just exercise some patience and see how things develop, and only step in with accusations if I'd know that I had some leg to stand on.
Tks again, flaggie.

"the BBC is crawling all over the United States rightnow, hopeing to get something Bad about President Bush,"
They are wasting their time and money.
The BBC's credibility right now is close to ZERO.
Their own independent commission found the BBC guilty recently of fraudulently making up stories to make Tony Blair look bad, then stonewalling , prevaricating and lying even more about it when they were challenged about it.
Sadly, one top government scientist was driven by the heartless BBC Stalinists into committing suicide.
The commission report which exonerated this poor scientist came too late s save him
Today his wife is a widow and his children fatherless, because of the evil of the BBC.
Who in their right mind is going t believe anything the BBC has to say about President Bush today?
No one in their right minds. (I am excluding the DUers and the Euro-weenies. They don't really cunt do they?)
